Weight vests are a proven way to exercise easily and to build bone mass and increase muscle strength. Several studies have produced favorable results – the largest and longest in Oregon where a significant improvement in a group of women with an average age of 66 years was noted after five years. According Dr Christine Snow, Director of the Bone Research Laboratory at Oregon State University, “Exercise was as good as or better than either estrogen or Fosamax for preventing bone loss.”
