		<description>thank you, thank you, thank you for your website and your blog.I have some degree of osteoporosis (it has been called &#039;severe&#039;), and I have had spinal fractures from two bad falls, which were treated as osteoporotic fractures.But I also later had 3 very painful compression fractures that seem to be from doing a yoga posture (after 40 years of doing it with no problem) where my back was rounded. The pain from those fractures was so severe that I finally agreed to take the Fosomax that I had resisted 15 years earlier, after my second fall (the falls were 17 years apart). I reluctantly took the F for 5 mos until your news item appeared about the risk of jaw necrosis, and I stopped instantly and for ever. Now, after a new bone scan (an earlier scan, 7 months after stopping the F, showed an 11% improvement), which is likely to be my last, shows that I am slightly worse (spine and hip), but I have refused the suggestion from the woman who analyzed the results that I take INTRAVENOUS F!!!  NO!!  thank you so much for your timely info &amp; sanity.</description>
